# The Backroom — Quick Start

**5 minutes to a working profile**

## Step 1: Add server (30 sec)

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http thebackroom https://thebackroom-mcp.onrender.com/mcp
```

## Step 2: Create profile (2 min)

Launch Claude Code and say:

> "Add my profile to The Backroom"

Claude will ask about:
- Name/nickname
- Role (e.g., "Developer", "Marketing")
- Skills
- What you offer
- What you seek

## Step 3: Login (1 min)

> "Log me in, email: your@email.com"

1. Check your inbox
2. Click the link
3. Return and say: "I clicked"

**Done!**
